Full Terms

These terms are written to match how Darna works today: account-based search, Ask Darna, saved searches, messages, commercial listings, agent credits, and property intelligence features.

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Darna.qa and the related account, search, messaging, listing, map, saved-search, Ask Darna, and agent workflow features we make available through the platform.

By visiting, browsing, registering, posting, subscribing, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use Darna on behalf of a company, agency, developer, or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity as well.

2. What Darna Is

Darna is a Qatar property intelligence portal and platform. We provide listing discovery, map search, account messaging, saved searches, AI-assisted property search and listing support, market context, and publishing and visibility tools for approved commercial users.

Darna is not an estate agency, real estate broker, real estate intermediary, transaction agent, valuer, surveyor, lender, financial adviser, or legal adviser. Darna does not market property as principal, negotiate property transactions on behalf of users, or act as a party's representative in a property transaction.

Darna provides a platform through which approved users may publish property information and users may view listings and contact the relevant listing party. Listing parties and other third parties are responsible for preparing listing content, handling enquiries, and managing their own dealings with users. Darna does not participate in any part of the underlying property transaction.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use the platform. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep that information current.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity carried out through your account. We may suspend or close accounts that are insecure, misleading, inactive for operational reasons, or in breach of these Terms.

4. User Roles

Darna may be used by property seekers, registered users, agents, agencies, developers, and other approved commercial users. Some features are available only to approved or paying commercial users, including listing creation, agency dashboards, and certain visibility or credit-based tools.

Additional commercial terms, order forms, subscription plans, feature-specific rules, or onboarding requirements may apply to agencies, developers, and other business customers. Where a signed commercial agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed commercial agreement will control for that conflict.

5. Listings and Submitted Content

If you post or submit a listing, photo, floor plan, description, map pin, contact detail, lead response, or other content, you confirm that you have the right and authority to do so. You must ensure that all submitted content is accurate, current, lawful, and not misleading.

Agents, agencies, developers, owners, and other commercial users must only publish properties they are authorized to list and must comply with all applicable laws, licensing obligations, permissions, and regulatory requirements in Qatar. We may request supporting evidence of authority, ownership, project approval, or licensing at any time.

Access to Darna's platform tools, commercial accounts, subscriptions, credits, publishing workflows, or visibility products does not amount to brokerage licensing, regulatory approval, listing verification by a regulator, or permission to publish property where such approval is otherwise required.

6. Listing Standards

You must not post duplicate, fake, unavailable, expired, bait, manipulated, or misleading listings. Prices, images, descriptions, locations, availability, and property features must be materially accurate and kept up to date.

Darna may review, reject, edit for formatting, deprioritize, unpublish, or remove listings at our discretion where we believe that quality, legality, trust, platform integrity, or user safety requires it. Darna does not guarantee publication, ranking, impressions, lead volume, response rate, or transaction outcomes.

7. Property Intelligence and Market Data

The platform may include area context, market signals, AI-assisted summaries, natural-language search results from Ask Darna, maps, and other analytics or recommendation features. These are provided for general informational purposes only.

Such outputs may rely on user submissions, third-party sources, automated systems, statistical methods, and internal models. They may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and should not be treated as legal, financial, investment, valuation, or brokerage advice. Independent professional verification and due diligence remain your responsibility.

8. Paid Services and Commercial Plans

Certain services are paid services, including agent subscriptions, listing credits or packages, promotional placements, premium visibility, and business tools. By purchasing a paid service, you agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges in the manner presented to you.

Unless otherwise stated in a written commercial agreement or required by applicable law, paid fees are non-refundable once the service period begins or the relevant product has been activated. We may suspend or restrict paid services for non-payment, abuse, fraud risk, legal risk, or breach of these Terms.

9. Renewals, Changes, and Cancellation

If a commercial plan renews automatically, the renewal terms, billing cycle, and cancellation process will be set out in the relevant checkout flow, invoice, order form, or commercial agreement. You remain responsible for cancellation before the next renewal date where automatic renewal applies.

We may revise pricing, packaging, feature limits, or plan structure for future billing periods. Changes will not affect a current paid term unless your commercial agreement allows otherwise.

10. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the platform. This includes scraping, crawling, harvesting, framing, bulk downloading, copying, benchmarking, reselling, reverse engineering, security testing without authorization, automated extraction, model training on platform content without permission, or creating competing datasets or services from Darna content, listing data, or market-intelligence outputs.

You must not upload harmful code, impersonate others, spam users, misuse lead tools, collect personal data without lawful basis, interfere with platform operations, or use Darna in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful to Darna, its users, or the wider property ecosystem.

11. Intellectual Property

Darna and its licensors own the platform and all related intellectual property rights, including our software, data presentation, brand assets, visualizations, market intelligence compilations, reports, indexes, interface design, and proprietary arrangements of content.

You retain ownership of the content you lawfully submit, but you grant Darna a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, improve, secure, and support the platform.

12. Communications and Third Parties

Darna may enable account messages, inquiry forms, call actions, or other connection methods between users and listing parties. We do not guarantee the identity, authority, performance, response time, honesty, licensing status, or conduct of any third party using the platform unless we expressly state a specific verification status on the platform.

The platform may also rely on third-party services for sign-in, maps, payments, hosting, email, or other technical functions. Your dealings with third parties are generally between you and them, not with Darna, unless we expressly state otherwise.

13. Privacy and Compliance

Our handling of personal data is governed by applicable law and by any Privacy Policy or privacy notice we publish for the platform. By using Darna, you acknowledge that we may process account data, inquiry data, listing data, usage data, and related platform information for service delivery, fraud prevention, quality control, analytics, support, and compliance purposes.

Users who submit personal data through Darna must ensure they have a valid basis to do so and must use such data only in accordance with applicable law and the purpose for which it was provided.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, remove content, or terminate access to all or part of the platform at any time where we reasonably believe this is necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, content moderation, payment enforcement, platform integrity, or protection of users and Darna.

Termination or suspension does not remove obligations that by their nature should continue, including payment obligations already accrued, intellectual property protections, liability limits, indemnities, and dispute terms.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Darna is provided on an as available and as is basis. We do not warrant that the platform will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, complete, or suitable for your specific purpose.

We do not guarantee the availability, condition, legality, pricing, ownership status, transaction readiness, or suitability of any property, listing party, lead, or market data shown on the platform.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Darna and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, business, goodwill, opportunities, expected savings, or data arising from or connected with the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Darna's total aggregate liability in relation to any claim arising out of or connected with the platform or these Terms will not exceed the amount paid by you to Darna for the specific paid service giving rise to the claim during the three months immediately preceding the claim, or QAR 500 if you have not paid Darna for that service.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Darna harmless against claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the platform, your listings, your submitted content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

18. Governing Law and Language

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. The courts of the State of Qatar will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the platform, unless Darna agrees otherwise in writing for a specific matter.

If these Terms are made available in another language, the English version will control in the event of a conflict, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted on Darna.qa or on the effective date stated at the top of the page. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
